ISIS MASTER

These beautiful polished Lemurian crystals are aligned with the Goddess Isis and all she encompasses. Isis, the Egyptian goddess of rebirth is an image of empowered femininity. The goddess Isis was the first daughter of Geb, god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the Sky. She was worshiped as the ideal mother, wife, matron of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, the downtrodden, as well as listening to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers. Isis became the model on which future generations of female deities were to be based.

The ancient Egyptian goddess Isis has many gifts to share with modern women. Isis embodies the strengths of the feminine, the capacity to feel deeply about relationships, the act of creation, and the source of sustenance and protection.  At times Isis could be a clever trickster empowered by her feminine wiles rather than her logic or brute strength, but it is also the Goddess Isis who shows us how we can use our personal gifts to create the life we desire rather than simply opposing that which we do not like.

The goddess Isis, a moon goddess, gave birth to Horus, the god of the sun. Together, Isis and Horus created and sustained all life in ancient Egypt. The ancient Egyptians saw Isis as a benevolent goddess, good and kind. Each pharaoh was her son and Isis loved all creatures like a mother.

Isis spent time among her people, teaching women how to grind corn and make bread, spin flax and weave cloth, and how to tame men enough to live with them.  Isis taught her people the skills of reading and agriculture and was worshipped as the goddess of medicine and wisdom.  Egyptians believed that the Nile River flooded every year because of her tears of sorrow for her dead husband, Osiris.

 

BLACK MADONNA CRYSTALS (these are not lemurians)

Black Madonnas have grown out of pre-Christian earth goddess traditions. Their dark skin may be associated with ancient images of these goddesses, and with the color of fertile earth. They are often associated with stories of being found by chance in a natural setting: in a tree or by a spring.

Black Madonnas derive from the Egyptian goddess Isis and her son Horus. Early Christian pictures of a seated mother and child were influenced by images of Isis and Horus.
