ORISHA Stones

When i first saw these stones I immediately felt the presence of a Great African goddess, ancient and new, abstract yet inner pond reflective. She was Power personified. Her energy was not straight of movement but endlessly streaming and winding like a river seeking the embrace of its lover, the ocean.  She was all branches of the trees, all voices of the wind, and all moods of the water.  She was the One and the Many, the dark and the light, that lives in each of us. She is here to birth Elemental connections to our deepest self, reflecting diverse aspects of the natural world as it begins to flower anew in front of us.

Orishas (or divine spirits) are protective deities, who share their knowledge and secrets of the natural world with those that acknowledge them. The Orishas are said to be manifestations of an all-powerful God. Originally Orishas represented the raw elements of nature, such as rivers, storms and forests. Orishas have been known to take the guise of a formidable warrior when necessary to protect those she loves. Which is perfect at this time in history when All seem ready to attack anything still standing. The pretty side of our humanness is not showing itself as much so, this powerful healing stone is perfect as we learn how to reclaim our own inner African queen without all the drama.
